Notes

The Games emblem is the central motif of this posters, and the pink hue of the mountains stands out particularly well against the deep blue background (the poster is also available in a different shade of blue). The emblem was chosen from amongst 86 models presented by 79 artists. The Milanese artist Franco Rondinelli shared first prize with the Genoan artist Mario Bonilauri.
