Since 1930, the Olympic Charter has required that the Organising Committee produces a film about the Games it has organised. At the 1948 London Games, director Castleton Knight used nearly every camera in the country to make The Glory of Sport, which celebrated Olympic ideals in a peaceful world in Technicolor.
