Notes

Sam the eagle was created by a Walt Disney Productions cartoonist. Contrary to other mascots, this one for the 1984 Los Angeles Games was not associated with visual identity, which was developed later. Nevertheless, Sam was widely reproduced on souvenirs, especially playing different sports.
