Physical description

Right shoe with 6 hand-wrought spikes To make the tread surface as wide as possible, the six thin spikes are inclined outwards. The upper is made of specially tanned calf leather and the facings of cow hide.

During the Berlin Games in 1936, he won 4 gold medals, in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and long jump. The shoes worn by Owens were made by German Adi Dassler, creator of the Adidas brand in 1948.
