MONUMENT TO DRAŽEN PETROVIC, 1994-1995 Vasko LIPOVAC (CRO), 1931-2006 Marble This sculpture is a tribute to professional basketballer Dražen PETROVIĆ. The Croatian first found success in Europe in the 1980s before heading to the NBA in the USA in 1989. His career and life were brutally cut short by a car accident in 1993; he was 28.
