14. Los Angeles 1932, miniature house forming part of the Olympic Village. The Organising Committee for these Games was the first to build an Olympic Village. All the male athletes stayed there, but none of the female athletes; the social conventions of the time did not encourage such cohabitation. A miniature village was created by the Standard Paper Box Corporation at the request of Paul Helms, who provided the bread for the Village. Consisting of various buildings, one piece was offered with every Helms Bakery product bought.
