Nagano 1998 Sports poster, curling. This poster reproduces a painting by the Japanese artist Koji KINUTANI featuring two curlers during a competition. It is part of a series of seven posters. Curling was included in the programme of the first Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix. It was then a demonstration sport in 1932, 1936, 1964, 1988 and 1992. The sport was finally added to the official programme for the 1998 Nagano Games. The Olympic Museum Collections
