Signed pair of shoes which belonged to Pietro MENNEA (Italy), Olympic 200m champion in Moscow in 1980. The previous year, during the University Games in Mexico City, he had beaten the world record for the distance with a time of 19.72.

The athlete also won two bronze medals in 1972 and in 1980. In 1976, he broke the 200m world record, a record that was only broken again 17 years later by Michael JOHNSON (USA).
