Physical description
Face A: two discus throwers and a javelin thrower in between, a trainer on the left handside. Face B: a runner and his trainer, a discus thrower on his left. Caption on the wooden base: "Sports Illustrated in recognition of those Olympians who have been presented with this Grecian amphora as Sports Illustrated 'Sportsman/woman of the year'. Symbolizing in character and performance the ideal of sportsmanship".
