She is the most successful alpine ski racer in her country’s history. She won the overall alpine skiing World Cup three times and eleven discipline World Cups in slalom and giant slalom, along with 55 World Cup races, and was voted "Swiss Sportswoman of the Century". She competed in three Olympic Games (Calgary 1988, Albertville 1992 and Lillehammer 1994) and won a total of five medals: three gold, one silver and one bronze. The Olympic Museum Collections
