Grenoble 1968, winner's medal, gold, attributed to Jean-Claude KILLY for alpine skiing - downhill.

Physical description

Medal with belly strap and ribbon in Olympic colours. Obverse: emblem of the Games and caption: "- Xemes JEUX OLYMPIQUES D’HIVER - ; GRENOBLE 1968". Reverse: Pictogram of the downhill skiing and caption at the base: "DESCENTE". Edge: two identical hallmarks positioned inversely to each other: (horn of plenty) which is that of the manufacturer. Between the two hallmarks is the number "1" which indicates the title in thousandths (950) of the medal.
