Physical description

Obverse: Two standing and naked athletes (a man and a woman) holding a burning torch and a grapes garland. Behind them, tripod with fire. On the lower part, balance with laurel branches. Reverse: In the middle, stadium of Amsterdam. At the top, winged Victory. At the bottom, two globes representing the two himispheres, the Amsterdamer arms and two laurel stump. Caption: "IXe OLYMPIADE - AMSTERDAM ; 1928".
