Physical description
Frame with "RF" initials of the French Republic on the corners. On the bottom left there is the embossed seal of the "Ministère de l'instruction publique et des Beaux-arts" (=Ministry of Education). Text: "République française, diplôme de bachelier ès lettres, le Ministre de l'instruction publique, vu le certificat d'aptitude au grade de Bachelier ès lettres accordé le 9 juillet 1880 par les professeurs...".
