London 1908, commemorative diploma from the Franco-British Exhibition awarded to Pierre de Coubertin, IOC President.
Physical description
Oak leaves frame. On the left there are two women and a lion, one is wearing the Phrygian cap and is holding a palm branch (Marianne). The other is wearing a greek helmet and holding a laurel wreath and is paires with the lion (Britannia). On the right there are three women and a man. The women are holding corn, a ship, a sphere and a painter's palette. In the bottom there are the French Republic's initials and the British flag between two cherubs. Caption: "Franco-British Exhibition 1908, Shepherd's Bush London, Commemorative diploma awarded to Baron Pierre de Coubertin membre de la commission supérieure de direction de la section française".
