Berlin 1936, diploma presented to Pierre de Coubertin by the Organising Committee for his inaugural lecture on Olympism at the Mediterranean University Centre in Nice on February 28, 1934.
Physical description
The text is written on two pages in a sort of notebook held by a briefcase. On top of the first page there is tue embossed Games' emblem, the bell. Caption: "Hochverehrter Herr Baron! An dem Tage, an dem Sie den neu begründeten Lehrstuhl des Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen besteigen, sendet Ihnen das Organisations- komitee für die XI. Olympiade Berlin 1936 die ...". The diploma is signed by the OCOG's President in Berlin, February the 20th 1934.
