White painted ball, Nr. 1, featuring the decal logo for the A. G. Spalding and Bros. Sporting Goods Company. Handwritten inscription: "Arg 6th, World's Champions Official ball that won the game of Polo for Argentina vs America Olympic Games Paris 1924".

Paris 1924, polo ball commemorating Argentina’s victory over the USA. Regarded as the oldest mounted team sport, polo was on the Olympic programme in 1900, 1908, 1920, 1924 and 1936. Argentina’s Juan Nelson was the hero of the match between Argentina and the USA, scoring the sixth goal in the final seconds. Five countries took part in the competition that year, which was held in Saint-Cloud.
