Pair of ice-skating blades, first half of the 20th century In 1908, Ulrich SALCHOW (SWE) became the first Olympic champion in the history of figure skating, and was the inventor of the famous jump named after him, the “Salchow”. He could well have worn this pair of blades at the London Games.
