Barcelona 1992, Petra, the mascot of the Paralympic Games. Created by the Catalan designer Javier Mariscal (1950-), Petra was one of the characters in a popular Spanish cartoon series and television show, whose hero was Cobi, the mascot of the 1992 Games in Barcelona. The artist wanted to make Petra a happy and dynamic character in spite of her disability.
