Hockey shirt worn by Cammi GRANATO (USA), Olympic champion, Nagano 1998. Six-a-side men’s ice hockey has been on the programme of every edition of the Winter Games since 1924 in Chamonix. In Nagano 1998, for the first time, the men’s ice hockey tournament was opened to all professionals, and women’s ice hockey was introduced to the Olympic programme. This first women’s Olympic ice hockey tournament was won by the US team, with Canada and Finland in second and third places. The Olympic Museum Collections
