Physical description
Medal with Mexican flag's colors ribbon. Obverse: man holding a palm and a laurel wreath, caption: "Republica Mexicana ; Sria de Educacion". Reverse: aztec calendar, caption: "XLVIII Sesion C.O.I. ; Mexico D.F. 1953". On the ribbon is a metal bar with the caption: "Merito Deportivo".
