In 1984, during the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, this timing and sports measurement system was used in collaboration with the company OMEGA, under the name RECOTA AVN 3/2009 99B. RETA ‘JENA Measurement’. The measuring device, equipped with special software for all throwing and jumping disciplines, was used as a sports measuring device. This device had a direct interface with the stadium display, which made it possible to present the measured values to spectators immediately after evaluation.
