Notes

Called ‘’the beauty of seal characters” because they were inspired by that style of Chinese calligraphy, the 2008 Beijing pictograms brought together ancient and modern styles. The 35 icons evoking different sports and disciplines have an aesthetic appeal and a gracefulness of movement, and were used on many forms of visual communication.
