Physical description

The Torino 2006 medal is a ring with a hollow space at the centre, in order to represent the Italian "piazza. "Obverse: Games' emblem and curves of the graphic line. Reverse: place for the sport pictogram. Edge: "Olympic Winter Games Torino 2006". Red and multicoloured ribbon which, unlike in previous Games, is not sewn to its top, but tied.
