Natural wooden box with green foam insert holding the oblong official commemorative copper medal. On the medal are represented: pictograms of sporting events, ice crystals, the Lillehammer Olympic emblem, the Olympic rings and the legend "The XVII Olympic Winter Games Lillehammer 1994". The initials of the designer and mint, MK/TH.M, appear on the bottom right of the obverse. The box is decorated with a silver coloured ingot of the official emblem attached to the cover.
