Metallic plaque: "Le 27 juillet 2001, le Stade de Vidy rénové à reçu le nom de Juan Antonio Samaranch, président du CIO de 1980 à 2001, promoteur infatigable de Lausanne, Captiale olympique, tout au long de sa présidence".
