Participation medal: Obverse: Quadriga with Chariotheer and referee with the palm leaf of the victory. Signature, on the lower left: BM. Reverse: Allegory of the Victory and caption: "ELIS / ATHENS / PARIS / ST LOUIS / LONDON ; IN / COMMEMORATION / OF THE OLYMPIC / GAMES HELD / IN LONDON / 1908. Signature, on the lower left: B. MACKENNAL. Edge: Vaughton Winner's medal: Obverse: Two youg women crowning the victorious athlete, caption "Olympic Games London 1908". Reverse: Saint George, Engalnd patron saint, killing the dragon and a winged victory. Edge: "Vaughton". Both medals are presented in a wooden Art Nouveau frame.
