Tokyo 1930, commemorative medal of the 9th Far Eastern Games.
Physical description
Obverse: representation of the nude of an athlete doing several sports. He is represented in movement, during the effort, with one pair of legs but three pairs of arms symbolizing jump, javelin throw, discus throw and archery. The hair is floating and the mouth wide open. The plate also includes the monogram of the Far Eastern Athletic Association: AEA and the signature of the artist forms by two japanese ideograms. Reverse: at the top a rising sun, standing for Japan, below the flags of Republic of China, Philippines and Japan. Caption in Japanese: "may 1930 at Tokyo / 9th Far eastern Games". hallmark on the edge.
