Saint Moritz 1948, winner's medal, bronze awarded to Ralph OLINGER (SUI), medallist in downhill.

Physical description

Obverse: right hand holding a lit torch with, in the background, the Olympic symbol with six snow crystals. At the top, caption: "CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS". To the left of the hand is the name of the manufacturer "HUGUENIN". To the right of the hand we find the initials "PD" of the artist. Reverse: crystal of snow surmounting the caption: "Vmes JEUX / OLYMPIQUES / D'HIVER / St-MORITZ 1948", itself surmounting a crystal of snow. Name of the manufacturer "Huguenin" at the base of the medal.
