Drop shaped medal. Obverse: the mascot wearing a medal, a flower, the Malaysian's flag and on the lower part, an oval with the mascot wearing a judogi. Reverse: Games' emblem and a map of Southeast Asia. Caption: "KUALA LUMPUR ; 2001 ; SUKAN SEA XXI SEA GAMES". Malaysian's flag colored ribbon and hook.
