Munich 1972, uniform for members of the Organising Committee. The uniforms for officials, judges, service personnel and stewards were high on the list of things that needed to be designed. The President of the Organising Committee regarded these uniforms as a “personal affair”. Decisions were soon taken in relation to the colour palette (sky blue, pale green, lavender, fir green, orange and silvery grey) and the cut/style (Bavarian/ safari look, blazer and working uniform). André Courrèges was appointed as a consultant to design the work outfits. This item has been added to a collection that already includes uniforms worn by stewards, law enforcement personnel, hostesses and judges. Purchase
