Dandelion flower, after flowering, composed of a metal rod with a sphere at the top where are screwed elements (egrets) formed of a rod with the end of a disc from which transparent plastic threads painted white are fixed.

PyeongChang 2018 – dandelion from the Closing Ceremony. The Closing Ceremony offered all the participants a few moments to remember those they had lost. This segment was inspired by traditional Korean funerals and the funeral processions. Here the dandelion symbolises renewal: instead of dying when the flower withers, its life makes a new start thanks to the seeds that fly off in the wind. OCOG donation
