PyeongChang 2018 – “Jogak Hangeul Eeumbo”, artistic poster designed by PARK Sung-Hee, and the original work. The work that gave birth to this artistic poster is a traditional patchwork made of 336 pieces of fabric, 46 structures, shapes and colours. It is based on the document named “Hunminjeongeum Haerye Bon”, which governs the use of vowels and consonants in the Korean alphabet, and advocates a philosophy according to which: “the words spoken by man are based on the five energies of the universe”.
