PyeongChang 2018 – “Winter Stitch: Love & Wish”, artistic poster designed by HONG Hyunjung and HWANG Su-hong. This work is consistent with the embroidery which, made from a set of individual stitches, forms a whole. Fabrics embroidered from coloured stitches, typical of Gangneung’s artisan creations, served as inspiration for this abstract geometric pattern. The white and blue, as well as the shapes representing a snowflake, a star, a tree and the Olympic rings appear graphically. OCOG donation
