Tokyo 2020 – Kumihimo bracelet featuring the Games emblem. Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braid-making. The term “kumi himo” means “gathered threads” in Japanese. These types of cords were historically used by samurai as a functional and decorative way to lace their own armour and that of their horses. Nowadays, they are used as ties on traditional jackets and on obis, or kimono sashes. OCOG donation
