Tokyo 2020 – porcelain plates with a blue and red ichimatsu pattern. In Japan, during the Edo period (1603-1867), the chequered pattern was known as “ichimatsu moyo”. These plates are made of Imari porcelain, produced exclusively in what was formerly Hizen Province, on the island of Kyushu. OCOG donation
