Tokyo 2020 – Miraitowa, the Games mascot. The mascot was unveiled by the Tokyo Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020 on 28 February 2018. The winning entry was designed by Ryo Taniguchi, a 43-year-old graphic designer. His character successfully combines traditional values with a futuristic look, encapsulating the “innovation from harmony” concept which is at the heart of the Tokyo 2020 vision. OCOG donation
