PyeongChang 2018 – Samsung SmartSuit, used for short track speed skating The Samsung SmartSuit maps the exact position of the body and calculates the distance from the hips to the ice. Its five sensors are wirelessly connected to the coach’s smartphone, providing real-time data. If the skater’s body position is not optimal, the coach presses a button and sends a vibration to the athletes’ wrist, allowing them to adjust their posture immediately.
