Tokyo 2020 – Someity, the Paralympic Games mascot. The Paralympic mascot is called Someity, which is derived from the Japanese word someiyoshino, a popular variety of cherry blossom, and also echoes the English phrase “so mighty”. Someity has tactile cherry blossom sensors and exhibits enormous mental and physical strength.
