Tokyo 2020, daruma plush doll for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Darumas are round dolls with no arms or legs, and blank spaces where the eyes should be. The recipient of the doll fills in one eye when they make a wish, and the doll is then placed high up in the person’s house. When the wish is fulfilled, the second eye is drawn on the doll.
