Tokyo 2020, art poster created for the Olympic Games entitled “Extreme Revelations” by Theseus CHAN. Twenty posters created by renowned Japanese and other artists have been selected to illustrate the spirit and vision of Tokyo 2020. The selection committee was composed of personalities from the world of art, culture and design in collaboration with the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage. Theseus Chan’s poster pays tribute to one of the new sports on the programme of these Games, skateboarding, and its own language. You can see the grind marks of the board and the cumulative layers of concrete and metal, materials often associated with this urban sport. Donated by the OCOG
