Lausanne 2020, model of the cauldron. Also designed by ECAL students, the cauldron met the Lausanne 2020 sustainability requirements. Its fuel was wood pellets, making it the most environmentally sustainable cauldron in Olympic Games history. In addition, an innovative system meant that the flame could burn unattended for 24 hours at a time, as the burner needed to be fed only once a day. Donated by the YOGOC
