Beach volleyball runs in the family for Anouk Vergé-Dépré. “I used to accompany my parents to the volleyball court from a young age,” she said. “My dad, Jean-Charles, who’s from Guadeloupe, played for the French national team and later coached the Swiss team. Sandra Bratschi, my mum, played in the NLA [Swiss volleyball league]. So I learnt how to play the sport as a small child.” Donated by the athletes
