Nike Zoom S II track shoes. The Zoom S II sneakers were released by Nike in 1985, with red, white and blue uppers inspired by the Olympic Games Los Angeles 1984. Bill Bowerman started experimenting with sandpaper in the 1960s, and was using the material before he invented his now famous waffle sole. Purchased at auction
