Tokyo 2020, fencing jackets worn by Sofia POZDNYAKOVA (ROC), Olympic champion, Sofya VELIKAYA (ROC), Olympic champion and silver medallist, and Áron SZILÁGYI (HUN), Olympic champion and bronze medallist. The jackets are made of tightly woven technical materials, sometimes including Kevlar, and include a strip of folded fabric around the collar to prevent the opponent’s blade from sliding under the mask and along the jacket upwards towards the neck, a strap that passes between the legs and a D-ring on the back to attach the electrical body cord.
