Tokyo 2020, costumes worn by dancers during the" Connecting the Dots " sequence at the Opening Ceremony. The ceremony, which featured fewer performers than usual, began with a sequence called “Connecting the Dots”, which symbolised separation and social connections, “recognising and conveying the emotional connection for athletes training around the globe the past 17 months, much of that in isolation”.
