Tokyo 2020, shuttlecocks used in the badminton men’s singles and women’s doubles, women’s singles and mixed doubles finals. The shuttlecocks used in competition consist of a cork head and a skirt of goose or duck feathers. The weight and curve of the feathers can destabilise the flight of the shuttlecock; this is why each feather is meticulously selected.
