Tokyo 2020, costume and dress worn by the singer Milet during the “All Tokyoites” sequence at the Closing Ceremony. The “All Tokyoites” segment paid tribute to the residents of Tokyo. Aided by special effects, the stadium was transformed into one of the city’s parks. The sequence featured break-dancers, BMX riders, skateboarders and music groups, who invited the athletes to come relax and experience daily life in Tokyo. Milet first appeared wearing a more casual outfit; then, after a quick costume change, she sang Edith Piaf’s L’Hymne à l’Amour in an elegant floaty dress, accompanied by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.
