Laser sail with the Olympic symbol, the caption: "AUS" above the Australian flag, the Games emblem and the athlete's name: "WEARN". Seal of authorization from the ILCA (International Laser Class Association) with the serial number of the sail: "1809006". Signature of the athlete and dedication: "GOLD TOKYO 2020".

Tokyo 2020 Sail of Laser from Matthew WEARN (AUS), Olympic champion. The Olympic Museum Collections Tokyo 2020, Laser sail belonging to Matthew WEARN (AUS), Olympic champion. Matthew Wearn started sailing at the age of five. He was inspired by Beijing 2008 Olympic champions Elise Rechichi and Tessa Parkinson, who came to his sailing club in Perth to show their 470-class gold medals to the young sailors. Donated by the athlete
