Tokyo 2020, poster for the animated short film “Tomorrow’s Leaves”. As part of the cultural programme for the Tokyo 2020 Games, the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage commissioned an animated short film to celebrate the Olympic spirit and showcase the links between sport, culture and education. Directed by Yoshiyuki Momose, who was involved in renowned films such as “Grave of the Fireflies” and “The Tale of the Princess Kaguya”, “Tomorrow’s Leaves” had its première at the opening ceremony of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in June 2021.
