Beijing 2022, “Pas de Deux” costumes worn in the Beijing to Milano Cortina handover segment. These costumes were worn during the Milano Cortina segment of the Beijing 2022 Closing Ceremony. According to Lida Castelli, the artistic director of the segment, the performance illustrated the harmonious dialogue between people and between Humankind and Nature. The woman’s costume, with its organic shapes and colours reminiscent of sunrises and sunsets in the Dolomites, represents nature.
